SYMS helped QuantumScape bring the industry's first anode-less cell design to market, delivering both high energy density, while lowering material costs and simplifying manufacturing.

SYMS installed a conveyor, kiln, piping, and electrical systems for QuantumScape in Q4 of 2020, a project which led to further installations including a solid state battery demo plant, an additional kiln, a conveyor, process piping, and all electrical systems installation in Q2 of 2021.

The key equipment we helped install produces battery cells that can store energy more efficiently and reliably than today's lithium-ion batteries. They charge faster, last longer, and produce more energy with enhanced safety when compared to today's EVs and gas-powered vehicles.
